Our Trainers:

Director of Fitness

Lance has spent over 30 years doing what he loves: helping athletes move better, train smarter, and reach their goals. He got his start as a tennis coach, working with everyone from high-performance juniors and college players to competitive seniors, and that experience gave him a deep appreciation for what the body is truly capable of at every age and stage.
With a background in engineering and physics, Lance has always been naturally drawn to the science of movement. That curiosity led him to become a Certified Personal Trainer through NASM and later earn a certification in Senior Fitness, because understanding how the body works isn't just about peak performance, it's about staying healthy and active for life. Whether you're a junior athlete building a foundation, a tennis player over 50 looking to train safely, someone working their way back from an injury or joint replacement, or a high-performance athlete chasing more power and quickness; Lance meets you where you are and helps you get where you want to go.

Rochelle has been an athlete her whole life, competing in swimming, soccer, and track in high school, earning Athlete of the Year her senior year, and going on to study Aquatic Biology at UCSB while swimming competitively. It was that lifelong love of movement that eventually led her to personal training, and it turned out to be the perfect fit; a way to combine two things she truly loves: moving and teaching. She got her start with a UCLA Fitness Instructor certification and a personal training certification from the NSCA, and has never stopped learning since. Today her credentials include a BASI Pilates certification, Precision Nutrition, a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) designation, and she's currently working toward a Pre & Postnatal certification. Rochelle has run her own training business locally and created a women's strength training program at the Bay Club of Redwood Shores. Outside the gym, you'll find her surfing, prone paddleboarding with her youngest daughter along the local coast, baking, and cheering on her two girls in everything they do.
