Swim Programs

Junior Olympic sized pool is heated to 85 degrees year-round. This is the perfect place to lounge around the pool, enjoy the scenery and sun. You can also experience our 2 lap lanes, swimming lessons, or enjoy our water aerobics class.

Lessons are taught by a certified swim instructor, Tiffanie Wright.

 

Due to COVID-19, we are continually updating our safety procedures in how we can best support in providing our offerings. 

Lesson Duration:

In order to support with maintaining a safe environment for you, your family, and our team, we have altered the lesson times to 20 mins, instead of 25. This will allow for time to enter and depart the pool area, between lessons.

Schedule:
*Due to Covid-19 Mandated Regulations, we are unable to provide swim lessons at this time.

Class Sizes:
We also will temporarily not be providing group lessons of 3 or more students. We look forward to being able to provide them again, once it's safe to do so. 

Please Bring:

For your safety, temporarily the club is requesting you to bring your own:

  • chair**
  • towel**
  • sunscreen
  • goggles
  • toys for the pool

We look forward to supporting you with amenities such as our lounges, towels and more once it's safe to do so.

Cancellations
: must be submitted prior 24 hours prior to swim lesson. Without notification, cancellations will result in a charge of a full regular lesson charge. Also, there are no make-ups for canceled classes.

Water Aerobics Class

We would like to integrate a water aerobics class for those who are interested, with Tiffanie out of the water.

Tiffanie Wright Randall, Swim Instructor 

Tiffanie Wright

Tiffanie has been working at the Santa Barbara Polo and Racquet Club for over 7 years and has over 20 years of experience in the field .She treasures her relationship with the families and friends she has made while teaching here.

Prior to her work at our Club, she was the Assistant Coach for Men’s and Women’s Springboard and Platform Diving at UCSB, Head Women’s and Men’s Diving Coach at Dos Pueblos High School, taught swimming for all ages at the Montecito YMCA and at the Ventura YMCA. She was also awarded the YMCA Alpha Program award in 2012 for teaching above and beyond with the Mentally Challenged.

Tiffanie has been a competitive diver since she was 6 years old. Her mother was her coach and mentor her entire diving career. They traveled all over the USA for competitions and training. Her diving teaching career began at the young age of 11!

In high school, she was awarded 4 consecutive years for the NATIONAL ALL AMERICAN Diving ranking throughout the country. In 2006 her family and she traveled out to southern California to embrace her years of hard work and training. She became a National Champion in Springboard and Platform Diving held in Mission Viejo, CA. She continued to compete diving for many years after that until she decided to teach her own team. Throughout all her years of competing, she was also working at local pools teaching swimming, survival skills and lifeguarding.
